Privacy Policy

Maple Inflation (mapleinflation.com) is a fan-made price tracker for MapleStory Classic World. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nexon.

What we collect

Browsing the site needs no account. If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name and email address. We never receive your password and we ask for no other Google data.

If you post a character listing we store what you type into it (class, level, price, description, Discord handle) and show it publicly until it expires, is sold or is deleted.

Questions you type into "Ask the market" (and any screenshot you attach) are processed to produce an answer and are not linked to your account. To prevent abuse we keep a short-lived, one-way hash of your IP address with daily request counts.

How we use it

Only to run the site: keep you signed in (a secure, HttpOnly session cookie), show your listings as yours, and stop spam. We do not sell or share personal data, do not show ads and do not use it for marketing.

Cookies

One essential session cookie when you sign in. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

Sessions expire after 30 days. Listings expire after 14 days. To delete your account and everything linked to it, email us from the address you signed in with and we will remove it within 7 days. You can also revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13.
